Curcumin 4'-O-glucooligosaccharides were synthesized by a two step-enzymatic method using almond β-glucosidase and cyclodextrin glucanotransferase (CGTase). Curcumin was glucosylated to curcumin 4'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside by almond β-glucosidase in 19% yield.
